About Balkans Sea Fair

The Balkans Sea Fair returns for its second edition from October 16–18, 2026, hosted at the scenic Marina Orikum in Vlorë, Albania.

Following a successful international debut, the Balkans Sea Fair has established itself as the premier platform dedicated to the growth and structured development of the maritime and recreational boating sectors in South-Eastern Europe. Positioned uniquely at the crossroads of the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, the fair connects global yachting brands, equipment manufacturers, and service providers with one of the Mediterranean’s most exciting emerging markets.

Our inaugural edition brought together over 50 exhibitors from five countries, capturing the attention of major international port organizations and maritime stakeholders.

For 2026, the Balkans Sea Fair is expanding its international footprint, bringing together more brands, thought leaders, and decision-makers to position South-Eastern Europe as an essential destination on the global nautical calendar.

Albania’s maritime industry is undergoing a historic transformation. Supported by forward-thinking long-term national strategies, the country is investing heavily in modern marina networks, port infrastructure, updated yachting legislation, and premium  hospitality.

The international yachting community has long anticipated this evolution. The Balkans Sea Fair is the direct response to this momentumserving as a bridge between international nautical standards and the expanding opportunities of the Balkan region.

The Balkans Sea Fair project was launched by Italian event manager Monica Micheli Panozzo, who united local Albanian maritime pioneers and international experts to structure and elevate an emerging market.

What began as a visionary initiative has rapidly evolved into a strategic network of institutional partnerships, industry leaders, and local trailblazers, all working together to foster dialogue on marina development, yachting services, and sustainable economic growth in the Eastern Mediterranean.
